Bespoke Requirement

Bourneville College required a new Unfinished Herringbone floor in a large classroom.

Bourneville College

The classroom covered 90 square metres. As the building is listed, Decorus had to abide by strict requirements set by the Bourneville Trust and had to adhere to the original style of the flooring throughout the building. After fitting the floor, it needed to be sanded and stained with a single, unbroken seal being applied across the whole floor.

Bourneville College, located in Longbridge, Birmingham, was first established in 1911 by George Cadbury to cater for his workforce and the local’s educational welfare.
