After the client provided his own wood, Decorus fitted this Walnut Herringbone floor within three days, carrying it through from the hallway to the lounge and study. Fitted without a border, Decorus prepared the sub-floor, ensuring it was level, before laying each individual piece of flooring at 90 degrees. To do this, the direction of the pattern had to be decided and completely followed throughout. Attaching the blocks one-by-one with special adhesive, Decorus had to make sure the joints were precise and met exactly. The floor has a smooth, even finish and the customer is delighted with the outcome.
